[computer-tech-support: 7616] WiFi Antenna. Wireless signal timing out.

Hello,
I am a systems administrator. I just saw this group, and i like that
someone is sharing solutions to problems we experience. I'd like to
share some of my solutions too, I'll do that now that i have joined
this group.

Am having a problem with a wireless antenna. The first time i put it
up, it was inside the building, on a window directly pointing the one
across the road. Worked fine but kept timing out. so i put it outside
it worked well for a few days and started timing out continously. So i
brought it back inside and worked but still has a few time outs.

I have two buildings 200 meters away from each other. one building
joins the other (the main LAN) via a wireless bridge. So the two
building have different antennas.

Anyone has any suggestions on what i should do about this?
