| Free Keyboard Remapper SharpKeys Posted: 22 Oct 2010 05:30 AM PDT There are so many keys on the keyboard which we seldom use like the ScrLk key whereas there are keys which we use the most. So if you have wanted to remap your Keyboard keys so that more than one key functions the same, then this tool will help you.
SharpKeys is a Registry hack that is used to make certain keys on a keyboard act like other keys. For example, if you accidentally hit Caps Lock often, you could use this utility to map Caps Lock to a Shift key or even turn it off completely. This official release includes support for up to 104 mappings, an extensive list of available keys, and a “Type Key” option to help when managing mappings. The main advantage of using this tool over other keyboard remappers is that it doesn't require to be run continuously in the background. Once the changes are done, they will be saved unless they are reverted back even after the system reboot. It is worth noting that changes can be done undo any time easily, which will restore the keys as they were. Related posts:
