Especially with images and songs extra information is attached to a
sub-layer so to speak. You have the album cover art and extra
information as to where it was downloaded or purchased from, etc.
When you copy these files to a CD, that extra information is lost, but
it should not hurt the specific files you are copying. They should be
fine.
