[computer-tech-support: 8003] Alienware Laptop

I am trying to install Windows XP on an alienware laptop but, it keeps giving me the BSOD and says that the setupdd.sys file is invalid.  I have checked the RAM and BIOS and it looks like everything is okay..any thoughts???
