Goofind: New Service from Google to Download Files directly Posted: 31 Oct 2010 05:30 AM PDT Google has introduced a new service to download files directly. The service is called GooFind and as the name suggests the service uses the Google search to search for the file then showing the result with the download link. Goofind seem to work like Google but there is slight difference between the two that while Google displays all the results of the search query, Goofind displays all the results from the unprotected servers in the globe having the file stored. The search results are the index of the files stored on the servers globally. The basic difference between Google and Goofind is that, while Google searches for pages Goofind displays files. If the file name searched is correct then searching the file and downloading should not be a problem. Chrome users can directly download the file using this extension from their browser.
