Re: [computer-tech-support: 8095] Re: About laptop

When you say you have one partition with Snow Leopard and one with Windows XP Pro, do you mean you are double booting them or running XP on top of OS X in emulation mode? If former, did you use Boot Camp or some other solution?

Thanks,
VA

I would not recommend a Windows PC at all to an Engineer, I use a
Macbook Pro 13"

I got the 13" because it is lighter and easier to fit into my
backpak.  I have two partitions running on it, one with Snow Leopard,
and one with Windows XP Pro.  Everything I through at it, it can
handle.

Price wasnt cheap though, a normal macbook pro is around 1200-1500
dollars, plus I added a SSD Hard drive from Intel for around 300, but
it BLAZES in speed.

I use a Dell at work, which my work provided, and I am not unhappy
with it, but the Mac is tons better.
