The problem is that the computer is using too high resolution or too high refresh rate, you probably have had an older screen and was using it fine then switched to this other one (which i guess is either smaller or older), you have 2 ways to fix this, either temporarily use a screen that can use the saved mode, and then change the resolution to something like 800x600 with refresh rate 60 or 70 something then when u switch back you fix it to something that suits the screen, solution #2 i think would be getting on safemode and also do the same change (800x600 with refresh 60 or something) then restart and do the resolution change later. it's quite easy.
