  1. Six Impressive Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Videos - 2011-04-08 13:00:53-04
Here’s a look at some of the things that make me Marvel vs. Capcom 3 this game when I’m not playing it. So much awesome fighting… so little time to do it. This collection is a mix of killer combos, mega battles and a little hyper-combo mishmash. Thor’s Mighty Combo This clip clock in at 22 seconds. And in those 22 seconds Thor hands Captain America a 100%-vitality draining combo. One single combo. Thor is mighty indeed. Genghis Grand Finals In this championship match, the two players battle it out for over nine minutes, throwing out some sick game play the entire way. And I’m still not sure who the better Magneto is. Top Ten Hyper Moves and Combos Here’s the top 10 most damaging moves in Marvel vs. Capcom 3. I agree that Deadpool’s meta use of the health bar to kick ass is the best. Andre vs Marn FT10 In this video, two calm, power players fight it out in a first-to-ten battle that showcases some impressive moves and clocks in at over 35 minutes. It’s a battle to the end. Wesker’s Strong Finish This fight is action packed and mostly nothing special, but when it comes to … Continue reading
  2. How to Install SSD (Solid State Drive) Hard Disk on Your Laptop! - 2011-04-09 13:24:35-04
Yesterday, I installed my very first SSD (Solid State Drive) because my ASUS UL30Vt‘s hard disk suddenly died on me. Of course, I remembered that SSD can be a great enhancement for your laptop or desktop because the file transfer rates are near 200MB+/s in real life and 2-4X faster on most IO tasks. Anyways, installing SSD on a laptop can be pretty darn easy. In fact, all I really needed to do was unscrew about 8 screws then screw it back. I re-used the hard disk bracket and put it on my new SSD, then simply slid that back into the laptop. I got the Intel X25M 120GB, which can be picked up on Amazon for $229.99 at the time of writing this blog post. Most new laptops sold these days make it very easy for you to replace the hard disk so if your hard disk dies suddenly (like it did on me), I highly suggest you to swap it with an SSD. Here’s me installing SSD on my laptop for the first time, the only trouble I had was getting these screws unscrewed, I think the factory robot overdid it. What is an SSD? For those of … Continue reading
  3. Canon 24-105mm Lens Review! - 2011-04-09 15:11:47-04
For general filming, the Canon 24-105mm F/4 is the best out there.  I’ve talked to many other Canon videographers and many agree this is the all-around best lens for video shooting as you get a good range of zoom while the F/4 means you focal length stays the same while you zoom in and out.  This important since you will have the same focal length while you zoom in and out. After personally using the Canon 24-105mm at tradeshow and even in heavy rain, it’s a great, durable “L” lens from Canon that will allow you to take great, professional-quality videos on the go. The Canon 24-105mm is also the only lens with this much zoom range that features IS (Image Stabilization).  This is so important when it comes to taking videos without a tripod.  There’s also Canon 24-70mm F/2.8 but doesn’t have Image Stabilization, meaning you will need a tri-pod or have been blessed with god-given steady hands. If you are just starting out with DSLR videography, just get the Canon 24-105mm, you will not regret it. And don’t forget to get a lens filter, I got the Hoya 77mm.  You can get any 77mm lens filters but do get one as it will … Continue reading
  4. Sigma 10-20mm Lens Review! - 2011-04-09 15:50:46-04
For those of you who want to take some great landscape shots, the Sigma 10-20mm is a great lens to start out as it allows you to take those wide-angle shots and take in everything. Especially in video, this can come in handy where your zoom lens is too close to your target object such as a small room or action shots where you need to stay close to your subject but take the whole shot. Here’s some shots I took at Times Square in New York couple weeks back with the Sigma 10-20mm: As you can see, you can grab a whole lot of photo with this wide-angle lens. However, the reason why I got it isn’t the photos but for my videos.  At 2010 CES last year, I took my standard zoom lens and there were booths where there’s too many people that the only way I can get a good video review of a gadget was by standing literally inches from it. With this Sigma 10-20mm lens, I can be very close to my subject, as close as 3-feet, and be able to take video of what I am trying to record. Above and below shows the … Continue reading

  14. The Best Electric Wine Opener - 2011-04-11 11:00:30-04
It you have ever been in the situation where the cork in a wine bottle broken then you will know that the only solution is to push it into the bottle, but this leaves bits and it no good when you have people around. that is why this is dubbed the Best Electric Wine Opener, the entire operation is automatic and because of this the screw always goes in straight, meaning that it can be pulled out nice a easily. These are the main features of this cool electric wine bottle opener; A wine industry expert opened 49 bottles with the corkscrews, and she described The Best model’s screw insertion as “great and easiest by far” because it latched onto wine bottle necks and automatically plunged the worm squarely into the center of corks. Lesser corkscrews were criticized because they were “difficult to insert and caused the bottle to spin.” The Best Electric Wine Opener “required hardly any force” to remove both synthetic and real corks in one piece, unlike other models that “allowed the cork to get stuck” on the worm or caused bits of cork to fall into the wine. The Best model can open up to 40 … Continue reading

Anyway, it seems that some web designers and website owners are making serious errors in the design of the site and they appear to be completely unaware of the affect that poor design can have on traffic and visitor satisfaction. These are the main mistakes that website owners are making in the design of their sites; Poor Navigation – People visit your site for specific information, and if they cannot find it they will quickly go elsewhere, leaving with the impression that your business is disorganized in more than just its website. No Clear Calls To Action – If you aren't leading users to commit to an action (buy a product, contact you or subscribe, for example), then you are losing them. Color & Contrast – If your website text does not have sufficient contrast compared to its background, people will have difficulty reading your content, especially people with poor vision or color-blindness.
