Virtual Floppy Drive for Windows Posted: 06 Apr 2011 05:30 AM PDT Floppy Drives are almost extinct now and you don't see one coming now in the new systems, then what if any of the software (may be the one written long ago) require the floppy drive? Well if you don't have a floppy drive installed in your system and still want to use the floppy drive, you can do that easily. With the tool called Virtual Floppy Drive, you don't need to have a floppy drive installed in your system and still make use of the functionality. With this tool, it is possible to emulate one or two floppy drives support a wide variety of different media types from 160KB (5.25″) to 2.88MB (3.5″). Just use this tool to emulate virtual floppy drive similar to the virtual CD drive. The Virtual Floppy Drive can be used to work on Windows NT / 2000 / XP / 2003 / Vista / Windows 7 (both 32-bit and 64-bit versions). Related posts: |
