- SEE What is Inside the FBI GPS Tracking Device! - 2011-05-09 19:07:47-04
It’s probably fair to assume that FBI hires the best hackers of the world, and also fair to assume that they probably hire a lot of hackers (who’ve been caught) in return for freedom instead of jail. Anyways, it’s easy to say that FBI does have these highly sophisticated equipment but have you actually seen one in real life? If not that’s okay too because the photos posted here and at iFixIt show you exactly that, the inside working of a real FBI GPS tracking device. There’s not much other than a battery that could in theory last 20 years. - Buy Movies on YouTube! - 2011-05-09 20:29:00-04
Before Google came out with YouTube, I had a strong feeling that YouTube is going to eventually replace cable/satellite TV as we know it. Well, today YouTube announced another step towards that, they are offering real movies you can stream to your computer, sorta like what Amazon has been doing but through YouTube. I think this is a huge step for YouTube as I have personally been a big part of as a YouTube partner with my growing YouTube channel. What YouTube does is huge for millions of self-proclaimed movie directors, high school students with talent, and other normal everyday becoming famous daily. What YouTube is probably really good at (ever since its birth by founders Chad Hurley, Steve Chen, and Jawed Karim) is streaming online videos better than any other video company online. And of course, last year they’ve upped the status even better by allowing people to upload up to 1080P HD videos. All this means is actually great for the daily average Joe as it offers more opportunities for no-namers to get their word out. Besides that, YouTube is also great for small (and tiny) businesses to get their name out through viral campaigns. Even 5 … Continue readingThis post Buy Movies on YouTube! was originally from zedomax.com

- CyanogenMod 7 ROM Downloaded over 215,000 Times! - 2011-05-10 02:45:10-04
In a recent report from Boy Genius Report, CyanogenMod 7 ROM has been downloaded over 215,000 times! For those of you who don’t know what CyanogenMod ROM is, it’s basically an enhanced, modified Android OS that super-boosts your Android smartphone with a bunch of more features. There are features like extended battery life, faster/efficient UI, and much more. I’ve actually been following Cyanogen’s progress ever since Nexus One was launched last January 2010. I have to say, Cyanogen has grown a quite a bit and supports many different Android smartphone including G2 Phone, HTC Evo 4G, Nexus S, MyTouch 4G, and many more. Anyways, this is a great news for the Android hacking community, which I think is now better supported than iPhone/iPod jailbreaking community as proven with just Cyanogen’s success, which is only a part of the Android development community. Also, I’ve written step-by-step guide for installing this CyanogenMod 7 ROM on my G2 Phone and Nexus S, you can check them out here: (shameless plug on my own sites) How to Install CyanogenMod 7 ROM on G2 Phone! - Four Quadrocopters Fly in Sync! - 2011-05-10 07:20:28-04
Probably the tightest flying RC that I have seen with precision and control is the Hexacopter. Hexacopter is basically like a helicopter but with 6 blades instead of one. Of course, there’s also quadrocopter, which uses 4 blades. You are about to see the most fabulous synchronization of four quadrocopters moving in perfect sync and harmony. You could probably build an autonomous war machine with this, pretty darn cool I’d say. You will have to amaze your own eyes by watching the four quadrocopters in action: The University of Pennsylvania’s GRASP Lab, famous for those crazy quadrotors that can fly through windows and hula hoops, has been working on getting groups of the robots to fly together in formation. Just like with a formation of fighter jets, there’s a leader robot in each squad along with several follower robots. The followers have just two jobs: follow the leader, and preserve the shape of the formation. via engadget, ieee Also see: How to Build Your Own Quadrocopter! - How to Do Short Take Off and Landing with Single Engine Airplane! - 2011-05-10 13:31:55-04
I heard that many places in Alaska, there are no roads and the only way you can get home is via a small single-engine airplane. Well, my gosh, the Alaskans have figured out how to land on rocks in just a couple feet! And also take-off within just couple feet, this is simply amazing and don’t forget that they even have STOL (Short Take Off Landing) competition every year. The key seems pretty simple enough, just attach some four-wheeler wheels to your single-engine airplane then deflate your tires to absorb more of the impact from landing and land short. Pretty amazing when you think about it and how useful is this? Watch this amazing video of an airplane pretty much converted into a helicopter (almost). I’ve always wanted to be a pilot, this is going to be useful and I might have to try this one day when I am a pilot. At the STOL competition in Valdez, takeoffs and landings are measured in tens of feet. Pilots pull up to a line and try to get off the ground with as little ground roll as possible. They also try to touch down as soon as they pass a line … Continue readingThis post How to Do Short Take Off and Landing with Single Engine Airplane! was originally from zedomax.com
