[computer-tech-support: 8294] DVI vs. VGA

I have a monitor and computer (with 1gb video card) and the monitor as
well as the computer supports DVI as well as VGA. However, I do not
own a DVI cable, only a VGA cable. Is it worth buying a DVI cable for
$12 bucks? Is the video that much better? Can you really tell the
difference or are the stats just better for the DVI?
