It really does depend on what you are doing, if you are just browsing
the net and email then it would not be worth it. If you are doing
video editing or playing intense games then it would be worth it.

I help run a LAN center and I can tell the difference in clarity and
quality with DVI vs VGA.

New systems are running HDMI and 37" TVs and they are amazing, might
want to look at that as well.
