[computer-tech-support: 8316] Faulty keyboard

I have a Dell Latitude E5510 laptop. Recently the keyboard became
erratic; sometimes not typing certain letters or typing them in
multiples; either way it makes it worthless. Then at other times it
types fine. I do not think it is a food issue or issue of junk stuck
between the keys (though I am not positive on that). Also, when I
plug in a separate key board it works fine. I was wondering if it
might be a outdated driver issue or if the keyboard needs to be
replaced. Any troubleshooting tips would be appreciated. Tks.
