i have windows home installed on my home pc, and lately when i try to
rename media files like music and movies it corrupts them, in such a
way that no media player can play them; except for VLC media player.
what could be causing this, and how can i fix it and prevent it from
happening again?
Well what happens is i have tried every way possible to play them by right clicking them and selecting open with windows media player , and it doesn't work. the only way for me to be able to use those audio or video files is to convert them again into either .AVI or .Mp3 files using "anyvideo conveter software"
