PickMeApp Lets You Transfer all Installed Programs from one Windows PC to Another Posted: 22 Sep 2011 10:47 PM PDT Everyone has a lot of programs installed on his/her PC, but what do you do when you buy a new laptop or desktop? Well obviously you install all those programs again one by one -- which is just too irksome. Well now you can get all those imporant programs easily and quickly, thanks to PickMeApp. PickMeApp is a portable freeware tool which has the ability of transfering all your installed programs from one PC to another. It boasts an 'Add and Remove Programs' like interface that guides you through the transfer of chosen programs without the having to find the CDs or repeating the lengthy installation procedures. Once you are done with installing it, it populates all the installed programs on your PC in the left panel. Then all you are required to do is to choose any program you want and then simply click on the capture button. Doing this will add the program into the capture list. Capturing the programs may take some time depending on the program file size. When capturing the programs has been done, just open PickMeApp on the PC where you want to transfer it and then click on the install button in the captured list. This is an awesome tool that can prove to be very useful for you when doing self-directed troubleshooting, refurbishment of product, diagnose and programs repair of Windows PC. |
