Whenever you transfer your photos from your digital camera to your PC, they are always very big in size, because of the several mega pixels in the camera resolution. And this large size can prove to be a hurdle when you want to share these photos, so it is always advisable to shrink them before sharing. But shrinking and resizing all those photos one by one can be very irksome and time-consuming. So this is where Shrink O'Maticcan help. It is a freeware app based on Adobe Air that has the ability of resizing and shrinking photos in batch mode. It boasts a handy interface that will automatically begin the resize once you add the photos.

All you have to do is to simply drag and drop the photo or photo folder and then wait while this awesome app automatically begins the resize and save it as you specified. You are required to configure some options before adding the photos to the app. You can specify the size limits or as a ratio. An option to rename the file is also provided.

The app supports image formats JPG, GIF and PNG and you can set the quality of JPG images.

The best feature of Shrink O'Matic is that it works with batches of photos and resizes them at quite a fast speed.

As it is an Adobe Air based app, you require Adobe Air runtime installed on your system.
