Dear All:
The Bhopal Campaign had contacted Visthar yesterday to extend support
in their fight against Dow Chemicals. We are co-ordinating a protest
for them in Bangalore.
As you may know, Dow Chemicals is the main sponsor of this year's
Olympics in London. They are also the sponsors of the Paralympics -
the olympics for people with disabilities.
This is nothing but an attempt to clean up their company's reputation
and erase the fact that they are involved in the poisoning of
thousands of people in Bhopal. To sponsor the Paralympics, whose
message is to inspire hope, is a slap in the face to those suffering
in Bhopal.
Please sign this petition urging the Paralympic Committee to stand up
to Dow Chemical and urge the London Organizing Committee to reject
Dow's sponsorship.
