Hi Ramesh
Firstly have you confirmed that there is indeed 3g coverage in your area? If so is it working now on another device like a phone?
Which application are you using to mange the data connection? Is is Mobile Partner or an Airtel application? In any case there is usually a setting on the application that can limit you to 2G connectivity. Please see the attached manual pg 13.
