not matched to the antennas then that is your problem since you are
running a "G" network.
I would recommend upgrading to "N" (not only do you get a longer
range but you also get higher speeds - up to 3 times the speed).
But if not, search for
wireless n range extender repeater
and you can see that they are only $60 - $90
Also... Are you using the original Linksys firmware, or are you using
DD-WRT firmware (go to http://dd-wrt.com/site/support/router-database
)?
The DD-WRT firmware will allow you to boost the output signal and
you can maybe start getting a good/constant signal.
