stopped when the neele moving on it came nearest to the centre,
sometims due t some mechanical defect , itstopped before th song ended
and had to be manually adjusted. On one occassion during the ganapati
festival,a young girl was performing a drama ,in which a girl appears
on ths stage and plays a record. The record started andafter a minute
it stopped playing.All specators thought that now the pay wil be a
failure.But the girl who was acting loudly said,"oh! what a useless
gramophone" and started it again.I was also watching the play and I
thught what a presence of mond,She must be a very intelligent
actress,and I fell in love thinking if i get such an intelligent wife,
Iwuld be happy in life.After our mariage, I tld her about the incident
and this is what she said,"Oh that! that was all part of the drama.
