Tech Salsa Update

If you have a habit of viewing the streaming videos in your browser and don't have any version of Flash Player installed then you should be getting the popup to install it but Adobe has recently released the latest version of Flash Player.

Adobe has released the Beta version of Flash Player 10.2 which can be downloaded from the site. Following are few features that are new in this release:

• Stage Video Hardware Acceleration:
With this new and advanced feature you will be able to view the videos in a better way and also with reduced system load. Stage Video can dramatically decrease processor usage and enables higher frame rates, reduced memory usage, and greater pixel fidelity and quality.

• IE 9 hardware acceleration support:
Adobe Flash Player 10.2 will be supported by the new feature of the hardware acceleration that is present in the new IE 9 browser.

• Support for full screen mode with multiple monitors:
Full screen content will remain in full-screen on secondary monitors, allowing users to watch full-screen content while working on another display.
