[computer-tech-support: 8117] Extending Windows Cache Over Two Drives

Hi,
I recently extended my W7 cache across two drives, however I find when
I load a program or open a browser, there is a near 4 second pause
while one of the other drives spins up. I have the OS on one drive
along with the windows system reserved on C: and D: repetitively with
the storage drive with the extended cache being F:. The drives in
question are Samsung HD103SJ and HD753LJ which I configured to AHCI
after I installed windows by the use of changing the registry value
and enabling it in the BIOS. Also when I disable the cache on the
storage drive the problem goes away.Any thoughts?
